1. Nicholas Besch. I have found very little information on Nicholas Besch (so far). I was able to find a copy of the 1870 Pennsylvania Census, which provided me with the following information. Nicholas Besch was born in Prussia around 1820 (he listed his age as 50 on the census). He married Adeline Dietz. She was the daughter of Joseph and Amelia Dietz and was born on Oct 28, 1831 in Prussia . According to the 1910 Census, Adeline Besch came to the US in 1854. Nicholas Besch was a farmer and lived in Rockhill Twp in Bucks County, PA. Nicholas Besch died in 1879 and is buried at the Tohickon Union Cemetery. In the 1880 Census, Adaline Besch was living in Haycock Twp, Bucks County, with three of her children Fayette, John and Anna, and grandchild, Harry Angany. Adeline Besch is enumerated with her daughter, Annie Stockberger in the 1910 and 1920 Census’. Adeline Besch died on September 14, 1920 and is buried at the Union Cemetery in Quakertown, PA between two of her daughters, Katie and Fayetta.

2. Amelia Besch was born in 1856 in Rockhill Twp. She married _____ Angeny and had a son Harry Angeny. ______ Angeny died before June 1880, Amelia Angeny is enumerated alone in East Rockhill Twp as a widow in the 1880 Census. I have been unable to find any additional information on Amelia Angeny and her son, Harry Angeny

3. FRANK ALFRED2 BESCH (NICHOLAS1) was born February 22, 1858 in Rockhill Twp, PA, and died January 31, 1936 in Phila, PA. He married (1) SALLIE K. PROBST. She died on November 11, 1885 in Phila.. He then married (2) MARY MARGARET HARTZELL March 08, 1890 in Philadelphia, PA. She was the daughter of Philip Hartzell and Catherine Souder and was born on July 01, 1860. She died on March 8, 1923. They are both buried in Union Cemetery in Quakertown, PA.

5. WILSON2 BESCH (NICHOLAS1) was born November 24, 1862 in Bedminster, PA. He was baptized (in his infancy) by Reverand P. S. Fisher of the (Salimon’s ?) Keller Lutheran Church in Bedminster (also confirmed there). He married Agnes R. Snyder on March 3, 1887 in Milford, NJ. She was the daughter of Peter C. and Elizabeth (Romio) Snyder and was born on Nov 19, 1869

10. HOWARD STANLEY3 BESCH (FRANKLIN ALFRED2, NICHOLAS1) was born September 1885. He married LIZZIE ZIEGENFUSS June 24, 1903 in Sellersville, (Bucks Co), PA, daughter of Peter Ziegenfuss and Elizabeth. They had 2 children. He later married Emma Groff in 1927 in Montgomery County.
12. MARGARET MAY3 BESCH (FRANKLIN ALFRED2, NICHOLAS1) was born May 04, 1892, and died April 1980 in Philadelphia PA. She married LEON WILSON SHUTE September 15, 1915 in Philadelphia PA, son of Charles Shute and Susanna Kleintopf. They had 4 children.
